Have you heard that Lampeter is known for its creativity? It’s no surprise considering the abundance of talented people in our area!
Get ready to witness the exceptional works of local artists! From May 25 to June 18, 2023, the UWTSD Library Foyer will host an open exhibition, “Art Soup,” centered around the theme of “Mother Earth & Hiraeth.”
Many people here express their deep emotional connection to a specific time, era, place, and nature through art: writing, sculpting, painting, and photography. We invite you to appreciate these natural wonders through the diverse collection of artworks created by the gifted artists in our community, including Alexander Holloway, Ellain Williams, Andy Teasdale, Shirley Hall, and others.
We also would be happy to see you at the exhibition launch event on May 25 at 12:00 in the UWTSD Library Foyer. You can look forward to meeting artists, listening to poetries, enjoying tea and coffee, and admiring exceptional artworks.
