Once again we are able to showcase some of our area&#8217;s skilled talent with Jan Riley&#8217;s gorgeous photographs. Witness the beauty of nature in its smaller scales through Jan&#8217;s extremely well-timed macro photos.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will be on display until <em><strong>29th September 2023<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>In her own words:<\/p>\n<p><em>Jan is a keen amateur wildlife photographer and naturalist based in Ceredigion, where she lives on a smallholding with her husband and rescue dog, and from where several of the images included in this exhibition were taken.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>All photos have been taken in accordance with the Royal Photographic Society\u2019s \u2018Nature Photographer\u2019s Code of Practice\u2019 &#8211; a set of guidelines whereby the welfare of the \u2018subject\u2019 and their habitat is always prioritised over obtaining a photo.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Proceeds will be donated towards the British Trust for Ornithology\u2019s \u2018Avian Bird Flu Appeal\u2019, which aims to study the disease\u2019s impact on wild birds, help to safeguard bird populations, and assist with the recovery of species the disease has devastated in recent years.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-918\" src=\"https:\/\/mulberrywholefoods.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/JanRiley-Aug2023-724x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"628\" height=\"888\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mulberrywholefoods.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/JanRiley-Aug2023-724x1024.jpg 724w, https:\/\/mulberrywholefoods.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/JanRiley-Aug2023-212x300.jpg 212w, https:\/\/mulberrywholefoods.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/JanRiley-Aug2023-768x1086.jpg 768w, https:\/\/mulberrywholefoods.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/JanRiley-Aug2023-1086x1536.jpg 1086w, https:\/\/mulberrywholefoods.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/JanRiley-Aug2023-1448x2048.jpg 1448w, https:\/\/mulberrywholefoods.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/JanRiley-Aug2023-scaled.jpg 1810w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 628px) 100vw, 628px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a while since we&#8217;ve had a photography exhibition in our cafe and this one is a most refreshing comeback.
