We have been short-listed for the prestigious Natural and Organic Products Europe Best Independent Retailer award. This is the top industry award and event organiser Suzanne Rowland informed us that there\u2019s been a record number of entries from all over the country and that the Mulberry Bush Wholefoods is on a short list of just three.<\/p>\n
Back in 2007, Mulberry Bush Wholefoods won the category of \u2018Best Pioneer<\/em>\u2019 in the industry after a complete renovation of the store and the opening of our cafe. This award however is the big one in the Health Food trade.<\/span><\/p>\n Stella and her mother Josie Smith, who co-founded the Mulberry Bush in 1974, will be attending the award ceremony and dinner in London on Sunday 13<\/span>th<\/sup> April. They are practising their \u2018gracious loser faces\u2019 but we\u2019ll all be keeping our fingers crossed!<\/span><\/p>\n None of this would be happening if it were not for the fantastic support of our wonderful community, in a time were our high street seem to be taking quite a hit with more and more Lampeter businesses closing shop.
