Live Music – Brenig 11/11/17

We are kicking off our season of evening gigs and dinners in the Cafe @ Mulberry Bush Wholefoods once again, and opening with a fabulous Vegetarian Harvest Dinner. To inaugurate this occasion we will have, for the 1st time, the wonderful ‘Brenig’, a folk due of Daniel Laws on guitar and Mandy Martin on Mandolin.

DANIEL LAWS started composing songs in 2010. He lives on a smallholding just outside Aberystwyth and draws upon his observations and experiences from farming and walking in the countryside to compose songs that tell stories, some funny some sad, some inspiring.  Wonderfully heartfelt descriptive lyrics and beautifully haunting melodies like “As You Do” and not forgetting the rousing and funny songs “Go Go Jemima”

MANDY MARTIN is originally from Staffordshire and settled in Borth nr Aberystwyth with her family in the eighties. Her roots are in folk music having grown up and performed in the late 60’s & 70’s midlands folk scene where her parents ran a successful folk club for many years. Her lovely pure voice and guitar playing is often compared to Julie Felix. Mandy also plays Mandolin and the Banjo..

There will be a 3 course vegetarian banquet for £19.95.
